WELCOME to Wildlife Scientist, the Snow Leopard Self-Paced Edition! OUR CLASS OBJECTIVE: In this wildlife science class, students will learn important facts about the characteristics, habitat, diet, family life, and the ongoing field work behind the conservation status of Snow Leopards found in the mountains of Central Asia. Learning Activities: Examples include: a creature labeling and classification activity, matching and identifying creature concepts, writing vocabulary words and conservation brainstorming worksheets designed to support science, writing and math concepts. I'll also include templates or art prompts for creative enrichment. Available Assessment: I created an assessment quiz using Kahoot and it is posted as an optional link that opens up right on the classroom page. Please contact me if you would like to have the quiz in a worksheet form. This is optional and no account is necessary to take the quiz. Questions and Feedback: I am available for lesson feedback or questions, please message me through the classroom. Students will learn how scientists use these characteristics to compare and classify a species like the Snow Leopard.Students will learn why conservation of Snow Leopards in Asia is so important and what is being done to prevent the extinction of this important big cat species.Syllabus

1. Activity sheets are posted for download in the classroom. They can be printed or opened up on a computer or tablet to view while working in a notebook or on paper. 2. Pencils for writing/drawing or crayons/markers can be used for completing labeling, matching, writing, drawing or coloring activities. 3. Notebook: If you are not printing the activity sheets, you will probably want to have a notebook for writing, taking notes, labeling or drawing activities.
