1 live meeting
30 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
In this one time class students will be working on using adjectives to describe an item of their choice. The structure of this class will be non-traditional in that it will provide space for group collaboration/ discussion. I have the type of teaching style that adapts to each individual student. All students will have multiple opportunities to talk and interact as we play the "reverse show and tell" game. Students joining this class should be able to identify some adjectives to describe their item, however there will be plenty of input from others, as well as myself when needed, to help them gain adjectives to use that may not already be in their vocabulary. Each child will be given the opportunity to describe and then share one of their favorite items. All students will be given the opportunity to guess each others items.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their ability to describe something in great detail, communicate effectively with others, and MOST importantly have fun.
Other Details
Supply List
A few of their favorite toys, books, etc to share with the class ( kept off screen so no one sees till they guess it)
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
