**GAIL ENCERRADO** Gail is a highly skilled teacher from El Paso, Texas who is bilingual in English and Spanish. With over 20 years of experience teaching in-person and online, Gail has developed a passion for teaching English and Spanish language, literacy, and math classes through high-interest activities, like: cooking, baking, crafts, and life skills focused classes. Gail holds a B.A. in Linguistics from University of Texas, a TESOL certification, and is currently pursuing an M.A. in Education. She is experienced in teaching students of all ages, and has worked extensively with children with autism. Her teaching philosophy focuses on developing strong student rapport and personalized learning experiences to maximize student achievement. ———————————————————— **ARIANA PEARSON** Ariana is an eclectic bilingual teacher from Indianapolis, Indiana who now calls Costa Rica, "home." After studying, working, and living abroad in Peru and Costa Rica, Ariana considers herself to be truly bilingual and bicultural. Ariana holds a Bachelor's degree from IUPUI (Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis), along with a TESOL teaching certification. She enjoys teaching online and her experiences have helped her gain a deeper understanding of pedagogy and language acquisition in the virtual learning environment. Ariana's teaching philosophy centers around the importance of creating a relaxing, engaging learning environment that maximizes student language output. ———————————————————— **VICKY CLOUTIER** Vicky is a certified, fun-loving teacher from Wales, Maine. With over 10 years of experience teaching students in-person and online, she has developed a passion of sharing her love of learning with children of all ages - especially at-risk readers. Vicky holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, as well as a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Maine. She is also a certified children's yoga instructor! Vicky's teaching philosophy centers around the development of unique, interactive learning opportunities that infuse language and literacy development into high-interest activities, like: art, craft projects, baking, and yoga.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Adult supervision is required during this course because learners will be using a heat source (microwave).
