Class Experience

Learners will improve cooking skills, socialize with friends, and prepare delicious mug cakes every week.
**GAIL ENCERRADO**
Gail is a highly skilled teacher from El Paso, Texas who is bilingual in English and Spanish. With over 20 years of experience teaching in-person and online, Gail has developed a passion for teaching English and Spanish language, literacy, and math classes through high-interest activities, like: cooking, baking, crafts, and life skills focused classes. Gail holds a B.A. in Linguistics from University of Texas, a TESOL certification, and is currently pursuing an M.A. in Education. She is experienced in teaching students of all ages, and has worked extensively with children with autism. Her teaching philosophy focuses on developing strong student rapport and personalized learning experiences to maximize student achievement.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Adult supervision is required during this course because learners will be using a heat source (microwave).
