Upper Elementary Super Scientists Part 1 | Hands-on Science for 4th-6th Grade

Welcome to upper elementary science! This series of 3 classes (part 1, part 2, part 3)  can be used as your student's sole science course for their year or as a supplement to another science class or curriculum. This class is designed to spark your learner's interest in science and curiosity about the world around them! 

We will work through the My Pals are Here International Science curriculum which takes a thematic approach to learning science. This first course will focus mainly on physical science topics. We use the 5E model of learning science (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate). Each week students will get to complete a hands on experiment or activity and practice executing the scientific process. 

Our classes become small families. It is important for students to come to class on time ready to participate in their learning with the appropriate materials for that day and their cameras on and limited distractions around them.
