Accepting Enrollments for both Winter Session & Summer Sessions NOW!
Please see below for the dates this class will be offered each week this WINTER 2023 and SUMMER 2024!

✅Winter Session will begin the week of January 7th and ends the week of April 11th.
✅Summer Session will begin the week of June 16th and ends the week of August 20th.

Each week will include: Transformers Show & Tell, A Game & Buddy Breakout Rooms

🤗 During our time together kids will also be encouraged to engage with the class and answer questions from the teacher or other learners about the Transformers they choose to show off during the group time in class.

👩‍🏫 Since this class is a highly interactive teacher lead social club about a subject children are passionate about, it would be a great weekly club for children who might need some encouragement coming out of their shell, may be new to virtual learning, or be a bit on the shy side when meeting new people.

💬 This is also a club that is great for kids who love the spotlight, love to teach others about things they know, and love to show off their knowledge of how to transform different types of transformers!

😀 A lot of shy kids tend to draw off the excited energy of the others in this class which helps them feel more at ease talking on camera.

🎙 Miss Anna makes sure each kiddo gets to feel seen and heard by giving them lots of opportunities to talk / share during each meeting.

💻 This weekly class will utilize breakout rooms to give kiddos the chance to get to celebrate and collaborate with fellow bot lovers each week too! This means each week kids will not only get to enjoy time chatting with the teacher and showing off a bot….but they get to have ONE-ON-ONE time with a new buddy in a breakout room during class too!

😉 The teacher will give them the opportunity to teach the other kids things about their transformers each week in our main session and our breakout rooms too.
Break out rooms provide a great opportunity for kids to practice improving their socialization skills while learning social cues from the other child they are engaging with.

*** Miss Anna's Public Speaking Tips and Tricks for young learners:****
*Parents should feel free to practice sharing about their toys with their young learners 5 - 7 shortly before class begins.
A great way to practice sharing is by asking them to tell you about the Transformers they are bringing to class. For example:
What colors are is this bot?
What kind of vehicle mode does it have?
Is it an Auto Bot or Deception?
How many steps does it take to transform him?

This can help make kiddos feel more confident while speaking to the class about Transformers after class begins.
Taking a moment to transform and count how many steps it takes to transform can be helpful too! It is a great way to get them ready to talk Transformers confidently while speaking in social club during their spotlight time.

* Due to time constraints each learner is encouraged to bring a transformer with 12 steps or less to show during the group time and in club each week. The teacher will let children know in advance if there will be an opportunity to show off transformers with 13 or more steps.

* Miss Anna truly want to make sure every kid feels seen and heard in this class, so class may sometimes run over by 5 - 10 minutes to ensure every kid gets several chances to speak in the spotlight and share during our time together!

*Sometimes this class sells out. Please contact Miss Anna by sending a class request to be put on the waiting list if you would like to be contacted when a spot becomes available!

Parental Guidance
Children who are new to Zoom or virtual learning may need some help with muting / unmuting or adjusting camera angles the first few times we meet for social club. If a child is 7 years old or younger parents should plan to be in the same room as their child while staying out of view of the camera during social club if their child needs assistance.
Supply List
Kiddos should come prepared with 2 Transformers each week. A transformer related toy, drawing, book, or memorabilia item like a lunch box could also be used to show the club too.

Club members can feel free to bring the same transformers for previous weeks if they would like to share it again and again and tell us fun or exciting facts about it!

-Quality & Inclusivity

🙂 As a life long learner and kid at heart, every single club or class I offer utilizes my own unique style of play-based learning to give kids the opportunity to truly feel seen & heard while practicing important life skills while we chat, play and learn.

✨ Each of the classes, clubs and courses that I offer are built upon my personal strengths and interests......In other words, I teach what I know a lot about because I am truly passionate about the subject.

🥰 I strongly believe when a teacher is just as passionate about a topic as the students we ALL have a more fun and enriching experience together that helps create memories and learning experiences that last a lifetime.

😃 I make sure all of my classes are ESL & Neurodiverse friendly by meeting each student where they are in their learning journey and allowing students to participate as much or as little as they feel comfortable while they practice their emerging skills in our immersive classroom dynamic.

😍 I also provide private ( one on one ) sessions by request for children who could benefit from some personalized attention while having fun working on a variety of social and emotional, confidence building, public speaking and life skills as well.

-What I do and why....

🤩 I have utilized my 15 years of experience teaching a variety of enrichment classes like Music, P.E., and Literature (Library) classes to create my unique educational play-based classes for your kiddos to enjoy. I have found the transition from teaching in a traditional classroom setting to a virtual setting to be a wonderful experience for both me and my students. I have currently taught over 1000 classes on Outschool and plan to teach a lot more here too!

🥳 I lead each of my classes with an upbeat attitude while putting out positive vibes to encourage students to do the same! Kids in my classes get 110% of my energy and attention as I do my absolute best to try and make every child feel truly seen and heard each day we get together in my virtual classroom.

🎙 You will find that each of my classes are designed to be very inclusive which typically includes a smaller amount of learners so every kiddo gets the chance to talk and share their thoughts during our time together.

-Some more about me....

🥰I am a momma to a sweet and silly 11 year old boy with ADHD and A Giant Heart who I love to go on adventures with!
When I am not out adventuring or playing with my kiddo, I am usually teaching a class or leading a friendship club here to the kids I like to call my Outschool Family🥰.

🤪 Our home is full of impromptu dance parties, silly shenanigans and a deep appreciation for nature and trying to preserve it for future generations to enjoy!

🍁 I love incorporating teachable moments into my own child's everyday life through stories, nature walks, songs, and playful learning activities just as I do in my virtual classroom.

😜 Even as an adult playing with kiddos and being silly is still one of my favorite things to do! That's why each of the classes I personally design and offer here on Outschool are done with playful learning in mind!

👩‍🏫 You will find that many of my classes are focused on fun and engaging lessons with lots of opportunities for kids to talk, make real friends, practice socialization skills and have positive experiences while learning important life skills.

🥳 I strive to offer fun and enriching classes to make kids screen time meaningful and enjoyable while spending time together.
Every child in my special friendship clubs are given the opportunity to create real connections with other kids as I help them foster true friendships.

💻 I want every child to feel comfortable sharing with us, and would be happy to take an extra moment of my time to help students learn the ropes of how to operate the Zoom functions if they are new to Outschool classes.

🥺 The Covid 19 pandemic has left many children seeking connection, confidence building, and the need to polish their social skills they need to make and keep friends….and I am happy to say my classes were specifically crafted to fill that need for families!

- Why I can't wait to meet your awesome learner!

🥰 I genuinely enjoy getting to know every child I spend time with in classes and truly cherish each meaningful connection that we make while spending time together. I am looking forward to meeting your awesome learner and sharing some laughs together very soon!

- 💰 How I price my classes -

Providing a safe, inviting, and a fun atmosphere for kids to enjoy is my highest priority.

Above all else, I want kids experiences in my classes and clubs to be a very inclusive and engaging one, this is why I keep my classes smaller than lots of the other classes on Outschool.

I offer a variety of small class sizes based on kids ages to give each learner more attention, which means more opportunities to share their thoughts with me and the rest of the class for a more interactive experience.

Keeping my play-based learning and life skills class sizes on the smaller side ensures each child gets a more interactive and engaging experience during our time together.

My class prices reflect the extra time children get to spend feeling truly seen & heard in my virtual classroom by keeping my classes rather small. 🥰

🤞Do I have a waiting lists for my sold out class times?
YES! I have several class times for each of my weekly friendships clubs that I currently run that are sold out.

In the event that a class or club you are interested in has no seats available, I am happy to say that you can join the waitlist and get notified when a seat opens up!

When a seat opens up in class, those who are on the class waiting list will be notified by Outschool to let you know a spot has become available.

🧐How Does Pausing A Class Work?

- In 2023 families on Outschool began having the ability to pause their class enrollments if needed, in the hopes their seat will be available when they return.

It is a fantastic feature for families that need to take extended breaks from class, however because my classes often sell out...please know that if you choose to pause for one or two weeks while away on vacation this feature will automatically give other families the opportunity to enroll and take the empty seat while you are away. (Including those on the waiting list who have been eager to find a seat in a class.)

This simply means the only way to guarantee your child keeps their seat in class while your family in on vacation is to stay enrolled when they are away.
(Much like we do when our kiddos are enrolled in IN PERSON enrichment activities like Sports Teams, Swim Practice, Gymnastics, Coding Camps...etc.)

The wonderful thing about the "Pause" feature is that if you do need to take a break from class for an extended period of time... WHEN / IF there is a spot available when you want to return, you will be automatically re-enrolled and given a seat if the class is not sold out. ALSO, pausing a class will LOCK YOU into to a class subscription rate while your away, and if the price increases due to a teachers costs of living increasing while you are gone, YOUR price will stay the same.
