Class Experience
Boys are so unique that they have their own saying, “Boys will be boys.” In most cases, this is acceptable outside of school but at school, well that saying could become problematic. So many times boys get labeled with ADHD just because they are more hyper than most. The truth is…boys just need an alternative to releasing their energy. - Students will socialize with peers and have a space to talk about feelings, experiences, and thoughts while building confidence and making new friendships.
As a school administrator in the public school system, I have worked with a very diverse group of students; especially boys. Boys were typically the ones sent to the office for a variety of reasons.
