Tips and Tricks to Writing Paragraphs

In this one-time class, learners will focus on the "formula" to writing a paragraph so they will become confident in their writing. To do this, I will use multiple strategies to help them. We will learn each strategy, discuss, practice, and create our own paragraph in the "I do, we do, you do" format. 
I like to engage my students the entire time through discussions, questions/answers, modeling/examples, graphic organizers, a slide presentation, and a lot of hands-on practice. By the end of class, we will have practiced until we are proud, and each student will have notes to keep for future writing assignments as well as a great example paragraph of their own.
