In this one-time class, students will learn multiple strategies to help them learn the stress-free way to write paragraphs which will enable them to have lifelong writing skills and the confidence needed for longer essays in the future.

In this one-time class, learners will focus on the "formula" to writing a paragraph so they will become confident in their writing. To do this, I will use multiple strategies to help them. We will learn each strategy, discuss, practice, and create our own paragraph in the "I do, we do, you do" format. I like to engage my students the entire time through discussions, questions/answers, modeling/examples, graphic organizers, a slide presentation, and a lot of hands-on practice. By the end of class, we will have practiced until we are proud, and each student will have notes to keep for future writing assignments as well as a great example paragraph of their own.

Students will improve their knowledge of paragraph writing and have multiple strategies to use to create paragraphs in the future.

Please have a pencil and multiple pieces of paper available for class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
