Third Grade Math Weekly Practice

This ongoing class provides weekly math practice for third grade students to review and strengthen core skills in a fun, interactive setting. Each class targets a different third grade standard—covering multiplication, division, fractions, place value, time, and more—using visual models, discussion, and problem-solving activities.

Learners will gain confidence while practicing important math concepts through engaging examples and games. This class is perfect for current third graders or rising fourth graders who want to keep their skills sharp throughout the school year or summer.

Week of May 12 – Week 1: Multiplication Facts and Strategies (arrays, groups, skip counting)

Week of May 19 – Week 2: Division – equal sharing, fact families, and models

Week of May 26 – Week 3: Place Value – hundreds to ten thousands, expanded and standard form

Week of June 2 – Week 4: Time – to the minute, elapsed time word problems

Week of June 9 – Week 5: Fractions – number lines, parts of a whole, comparing

Week of June 16 – Week 6: Measurement – inches, centimeters, volume and area basics

Week of June 23 – Week 7: Bar Graphs, Line Plots, and Picture Graphs – analyze and interpret

Week of June 30 – Week 8: Multi-Step Word Problems – real-world applications with all operations
