There, They're, Their: Orton-Gillingham Red Words & Grammar!
Class Experience
US Grade 2 - 5
Do you ever get confused by writing words that sound different than they are spelled? We call these words "red words," or words that don't follow a pattern that we can sound out. In this class, we will focus on the red words "there," "they're," and "their." Not only will we learn why these words are spelled the way they are and practice their spellings, but we will also identify how to know which form of the word to use in sentences. I will be using visuals, example sentences, repetition,...
- Students will be able to correctly spell "there," "they're," and "their." Students will be able to differentiate between "there," "they're," and "their" and when to use each form in sentences.
I am a Maryland certified educator and am trained in Orton-Gillingham.
