In this one-time class, students will listen to testimonies of witnesses of a crime. They will learn the meaning of the terms "primary source, corroborating evidence, & reliable source" and use their logic & memory skills to solve a crime! This mystery class will include some time reading the testimonies of the different people involved and some time to answer some questions about who has corroborating evidence, who we can trust, etc. Each person's possible motive for committing the crime...
Students will gain a basic introductory knowledge as to what sources we can trust, the difference between primary and secondary sources, who has a reason to lie, and what corroborating evidence is.
