Why is the heart so important? What is a liver? How do the lungs work? We will talk about all of that, while focusing on identifying the organs. Learn the basics about the human body. We will be going through pictures on slides, and taking apart a model. We will also be reading pages from books about how the body parts work. No prior knowledge is necessary. Can't read? No problem. I've always loved learning about organs, especially the brain and the heart. My mom went to nursing school when I was young, and I just loved to look through her books. The human anatomy unit has been one of my favorite units to teach since I started teaching.
