In this one time course, learners will work together to solve a mystery of a missing item.
Class experience
US Grade 2 - 4
In this course, learners will receive their "case file" beforehand and come to class ready to work with their team of detectives to solve the mystery of the missing Chromebook. Learners will be able to take notes (and are encouraged to) for areas that they think should be investigated (and please, parents- let your learners work on it. If they get stuck, I will be giving them hints to help them along.) I will have a document for myself to read them additional information based on what...
Students will improve their critical thinking skills, work with others, and have fun investigating a "true crime" case.
A handout will be put in the classroom for all learners to reference. It does not need to be printed out but can be if that will help the learners. Something to write with is encouraged as well, as the team of learners will be getting information as they investigate.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I will not be having the learners investigate a real crime, and the crime I create will be mild and age-appropriate.
