In this fun Thanksgiving course, students will listen to a Thanksgiving story and make a fun craft. We will begin the class with introductions and then discuss what we love about Thanksgiving. Students will have the opportunity to talk about people and things they are thankful for. We will then move to a Thanksgiving story. We will discuss what we liked about the story. Then, we will make a fork-painted turkey craft. This is a simple craft, but young learners may need some help. I will also teach the students a fun Thanksgiving song. This will be a great opportunity to socialize with other students and have fun! I hope to see your child in class! We will be reading "How to Catch a Turkey" by Adam Wallace.
Learning Goals
The students will practice social skills through discussion and sharing.
