Children will love exploring seasonal pop art, cartooning, and graphic design with Rozine's engaging curriculum. This class focuses on creating a fun cartoon turkey, emphasizing creativity over traditional holiday themes. Students will learn to start with large, basic shapes and gradually add details like a beak, eyes, feathers, and wings. Rozine encourages creativity by offering various options to "build your own" turkey, making each artwork unique. To enhance their creations, students can add a festive background with leaves, pumpkins, cornucopia, and more! They may even make copies of their masterpiece for cards or decorations! In this supportive environment, kids will thrive as they develop their imagination and artistic expression. Let’s draw, create, and have fun together!

Parental Guidance
This class celebrates creativity and self-expression through art, with no emphasis on traditional Thanksgiving themes. While we draw turkeys as a fun, cultural icon, we recognize the complexities surrounding this imagery. We encourage open conversations about the significance of cultural representations and history.
Supply List
Students will need either a sketchpad, or 5-10 sheets of drawing or printer paper (just in case). Pencils and erasers are a must. Coloring utensils can be crayons, colored pencils, and/or markers. Paint is fine, if student is familiar, but will not be taught during this class. A Sharpie marker is optional. Students can frame their artwork by stapling it to a larger sheet of colored construction paper (also optional).
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
