Intermediate - Advanced Level
Teen authors will find a home and true peers here in our Teen Writer's Workshop. With a very small class size, only two to five students, everyone will have the opportunity to present their work at least once a month. We will have regular instruction on how to offer the best feedback to peers. The group will be moderated to be constructive, kind, and positive. This is a no trolls class. I have a non-fiction book published, another under contract, and a fiction manuscript that I am currently submitting to agents. As an author, I know the value of writing in a community and want to encourage students to read, write, and revise, to follow their dreams, and to improve their craft.

All work presented in class must be sent to the teacher for preview before class. The general guidance will be that nothing above a PG rating will be considered by the class. However, parents should be aware that students with specific triggers might still be disturbed by material in other students' stories.
