Hello!
My name is Miss Kayt. I teach middle school math classes to help students learn to love the most dreaded subject.
I am currently a 6th and 7th grade math teacher at a rural middle school, and I absolutely love it! I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics with a minors in Education, Psychology, and Spanish. I will also graduate in May 2025 with a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Mathematics for all grade levels. I am also a CRLA certified tutor, in which I have gone through ten hours of professional tutor training in order to learn how to meet students’ needs.
I believe that every student can learn to love and enjoy mathematics. I strongly feel as if confidence is key with this subject. By building up a student's confidence with math, the sky is the limit.
