Class Experience

This class is a fun and interactive way for students to learn to key ideas and details from the story in order to determine if the story is a tall tale. Students will also be gaining social skills by collaborating with each other and showing respect for other's ideas while also providing constructive criticism.
I have my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and I have experience teaching this topic to elementary school students.
There will be no homework for this course unless the student does not finish their story by the final class. If the student is not finished, they will need to finish the story for homework in order to be able to share it with the other students.
Students will need a pencil, piece of paper, and crayons/colored pencils/markers (their choice).
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I will provide feedback on the student's tall tale story.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
