Description

Class Experience

Inviting all Super Heroes! 
In this Super Hero themed class students will be able to:
-Practice letter sounds (B is for Batman!)
-Write letters
-Read Super Hero themed Emergent Reader books
-Practice sharing thoughts and opinions in complete sentences 

Research shows that explicit phonics instruction leads to stronger readers. I use kid friendly and familiar Super Hero characters and language to make phonics engaging and fun. Emergent readers will include high frequency words. Learners will...

Students will learn letters and letter sounds.

A notebook or paper and writing utensil. A whiteboard and marker will also work.

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
