This class is for learners that have already completed a first grade program and will be entering second grade in the fall. Join us as we continue to learn and play twice a week for four weeks. - To reinforce first grade concepts before entering second grade To learn how to become part of a small community through taking turns, raising hands, and making friends To follow instructions and be patient during instruction time To use their critical thinking and problem-solving skills during instruction time

Crayons, pencil, paper to use during the writing portions of our class scissors, and glue to use during non-instructional time
We will be using scissors and glue periodically in class, you will be aware when we are doing a sentence activity that requires them as you will need to print out the material needed. We will also be doing a movement activity at the end of each class. Be sure your child has room to move around without getting hurt. We will be jumping, running in place, stretching etc.
