Class Experience

Little learners will continue to develop their "pre-skills" in different areas of learning.

*Social development - how to get along with others and how to work together. Little learners build their social, language and self-control skills.
*Emotional development - how to understand their own feelings and feelings of others. Little learners build their self-esteem.
*Language development - how to communicate and understand through listening, talking, reading and writing.
*Cognitive development - how to make decisions and solve problems. Little learners improve their thinking skills by exploring and asking questions.
*Physical development - how to move their bodies actively and how to master both their large and fine motor skills.
Materials may not be needed each week but should keep the following items handy: - Paper and pencil or whiteboard and whiteboard marker - Markers - Crayons - Small objects for counting (legos, buttons, marbles, beans, cheerios, coins, sticks, pebbles, pom poms, paper clips, etc.) - Playdough (see parental guidance) or clay - Paint & Paintbrush - Optional: Printer (I will be providing optional worksheets as a review if you would like to print out to do at home) ** Please let me know if you have any questions.**
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
** Parents/Guardians/Caretakers please be readily available, be nearby and off camera in case your little learner needs assistance with the mute/unmute button and should technical issues occur.
** Please note that play-doh may contain wheat, which could cause an allergic reaction if ingested by those sensitive to wheat gluten or with Celiac disease.
** Little learners need to have a clear open space during movement activity.
