Seasons of Joy: Waldorf-Inspired Seasonal Circle Time for Little Ones

Join us once a week for a circle time experience from my Waldorf-inspired early childhood curriculum, Seasons of Joy. We will experience the beauty of springtime through music, movement, pretend, rhymes, make-believe, and storytelling.

Class Experience

Annette has been writing her Seasons of Joy blog and curriculum for almost 20 years and has been involved in Waldorf-inspired homeschooling and living for the same amount of time. She has successfully guided her own six children through many seasons of circle time.
All materials are able to be adapted to what you have on hand-- homemade is great!-- and most are optional but may be used to enhance the experience. Each week, please have on hand. We may not always use them, but they come in handy! * A play silk. "Silks" can be anything from actual playsilks to light muslin or cotton baby blankets, dishtowels, light pieces of material, juggling or dance scarves, or scarves found at the thrift store. * A drum or something like it * Something to shake (egg shaker, rattle, etc) * A bell or something to jingle/twinkle * A beanbag or something like it * Your own candle (battery-operated ones are great for independence!) if you wish
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parents are welcome to observe and assist their children as they participate in circle time, staying off screen as much as possible, as per Outschool policies. My hope is that you will them be able to carry this on into your week as part of your daily routine.
