This class is meant to be a positive outlet for excess energy and also meet like-minded peers for teenagers with ADHD. This is a class I will probably be running on Friday evenings, but I am open to requests for other days of the week, especially during the summertime. We will switch up the gaming every. We will go from Roblox, to 365escape.com, and Icivics. Icivics is jam packed with all educational games, however, I have never had a student that didn't absolutely love Icivics more than anything. In fact the greatest part of that site, is that while we are having tons of fun interacting and enjoying a positive social scene, we will also be learning about how government works from the very beginning days on American soil. There are games that teach the students all about what it takes to run for president, what it is like to be the POTUS, there is a game that is all about the aspects of voting and what goes into it, including what one should do to become informed before making a rash choice last minute on voting day, so that the students understand the importance and the power of the right to vote and what they should do with that. There are games where the student opens their very own law office and it is meant to teach them all about the 26 Ammendments as well as one game that brings you through the entire judicial system in our country. 365escape.com is an incredibly fun website with so many options and constant updates in regards to escape rooms. This is imperative for critical thinking skills. There is hidden math, and other academic questions that come up that must be solved in order to pass to the next stage. Then the last site we will be alternating in between is Roblox which we will be playing the games, High School 2, Rap battle, Among us, Greenville, as well as any other game that the students may suggest to me. I have been a licensed teacher for the last 19 years. I have worked primarily with neuro-divergent learners, students with ADHD and ADD, as well as raised and home-schooled my own son diagnosed with ADHD who is now grown and living his best life on his own after he finished a two-year technical school upon completing his high school studies. I am a very high energy, fun-loving teacher that loves to laugh and I always take the best interest of each and every one of my learners very seriously. That is as important to me as the safety and learning of my own child. Roblox will be used on the first and fourth week of every month. 365escape will be used on the second week of every month and also on the fifth week of every month when applicable. ICIVICS will be used on the third week of every month.
Learning Goals
The most important skill to learn in this class for my students is how to positively exert excess energy build up from having ADHD/ADD, and feeling over-stimulated, as well as how to properly and positively interact in a social club with their peers.

Parental Guidance
We will be utilizing Roblox.com for some of our lessons. When we are using Roblox this will be the only website or app that the students will need to connect on their own devices prior to joining the class. Students can either utilize two separate devices where they are utilizing one device to connect to the class and another device to connect to Roblox. My Roblox username is Teacher_China and I will include a QR code in the classroom for your convenience. Please add me as a friend on there prior to class so we don’t lose anytime trying to link up after class has started. 365escape.com and ICIVICS.com Will only be used in share screen mode. I will be accessing the websites on my side and allow the students to either utilize remote access or we will all be playing as a group, so there is no real need for them to go to either of those sites on their own. ICIVICS does have handouts on occasion and whenever that happens I will always post those handouts well in advance prior to the start of our class.
