Stock Market - Investing for Beginners Part 2 -4X a Week - Investment Camp

In this 4-day course, students will deepen their understanding of the stock market, exploring advanced concepts and strategies. Students will be given $100,000 in virtual cash to practice real-time trading in a stock market simulation game. They will research and evaluate potential investments, making informed decisions on whether to buy, sell, or hold their stocks, funds, and bonds.

L E S S O N  O U T L I N E
Lesson 1 - Introduction to Stock Market Phase 2
Students will learn about portfolio diversification to reduce risk and understand the four economic business cycles and their impact on the stock market. They'll also set up their accounts for the stock market game and review market vocabulary and strategies for picking stocks.

Lesson 2  - Stock Market Orders and Chart Reading
Students will analyze their stock trading performance and learn about different types of stock market orders, including market, limit, stop, stop-limit, and stop-loss orders. The lesson also includes market vocabulary, chart reading, and examining how current events affect stock prices.

Lesson 3  - Advanced Trading Concepts
Students will explore short selling and buying on margin while continuing to analyze their stock performance. They will deepen their understanding of market vocabulary, historic chart reading, and current events that influence the stock market.

Lesson 4  - Chart Patterns and Performance Evaluation
Students will study various chart patterns and review their trading performance. The lesson includes market vocabulary, chart reading, and analyzing current events. Students will evaluate their overall stock performance and present their findings to the class.
