In this two-week class, students will build pre-algebra skills by learning to multiply both positive and negative fractions together. Students will also learn about finding the greatest common factor and will practice mental math skills.
Class Experience
US Grade 3 - 5
In this course, students will learn to multiply fractions. They will also learn to find the Greatest Common Factor (GCF) between the numerator and denominator. In addition, students will be given the opportunity to practice their mental math skills when finding the GCF and factoring it out of the fraction. Assessments Offered
Students will be assessed with an informal assessment in the last class. Their performance on this, as well as their performance on the homework, will be reported back to the parent.Grades Offered
