Come travel through space! Learn all about the moon, asteroids, and different galaxies. This summer camp is out of this world. In this one week camp students go on a journey to explore space through a variety of hands on activities.
Class experience
In this camp students will journey to space to explore many of the different planets, moons, and stars in the galaxy. Students will learn about the moons and the moon phases through an activity using Oreos as a guide. Students will learn about how craters are made on the moons through another hands on experiment. Students will create their own coffee filter planets as they learn about the planets and what makes each one of them unique. Students will make their own galaxy jars to celebrate all...
Day 1: Oreoes Plate Spoon Day 2: Crushed Graham crackers, flour, or sand in a tub or large bowl ball of multiple sizes Day 3: round coffee filters markers spray bottles of water Day 4: cotton balls ( a large amount) acrylic paint 1-2 colors water jar with a lid glitter of any color
