Progress is assessed through engagement and questioning. The skills are taught through a variety of facets so students can pick up when their learning style sees fit.Class Experience
During this class, we will discuss manners to early learners in a fun and interactive way. We will start with a greeting circle and discuss how to ask someone their feelings. We will play a game involving solving social problems. We will read the story Please Mr. Panda by Steve Antony about kind words and actions then act it out together with words, playdough and sign language to ensure we understand how to be kind. We will finish with a game involving our new found skills. My teaching style is interactive, visual and movement based. Students will be constantly interacting with me and others to ensure they are grasping the topics. Here is a class schedule to know exactly what to expect: -Introductions and expectations -Greeting circle with a game and song -Read the story and learn inferencing to see what Mr. Panda needs -Learn please and thank you in verbally and with sign language -Interactive team discussion to know when to use them -Dancing to a reinforcement song saying these new words -Review of what to say and how to use it -Playdough social games to practice -Goodbye sing to dance our way out
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to use their manners. We will use manners through verbal, physical and social skills to ensure we uderstand in whatever learning style they learn through best. We will use these new skills with our friends too!

I am a certified mindfulness preschool teacher and a state certified teacher. I am currently in the process of retrieving my RYT200 for Yoga Teachers. I have taught preschool for over 5 years. I have taught special education and emotional support students for many years as well. I have been teaching children yoga/meditation and practicing for many years.
