In the Sign and Play- Christmas Time class we learn 5-8 Christmas themed signs as we sing and play together. This fun interactive class uses songs, stories, and games to help students learn sign language, practice motor skills, and develop emerging language and cognitive thinking. My Teaching style is very interactive, positive and hands on, and I pride myself in offering fun learning opportunities. I believe that children develop a love of learning through positive, encouraging learning environments. Please make sure students have room to get up and move as some of the songs require whole body movements. Please note we do discuss Santa in this class.

I am so excited to be back in the virtual classroom! I am a former brick and mortar teacher with 10+ years of experience teaching Language Arts, Preschool, Pre-K and ASL for early childhood. I am excited to bring my wealth of knowledge and experience to my students as I help them develop a love of learning. My passion for interactive, hands on teaching through play based lessons shines through in my OUTSCHOOL classroom.
