Teacher expertise and credentials
Doctoral Degree in Education from Walden University
I am offering this class to provide an option for students who wish to increase their skills in Spanish. The journey to become biliterate goes beyond being able to speak a second language, but rather being able to comprehend, speak, read, and write in both languages equally.
I have taught Spanish through games and interactions and find that my students use their Spanish vocabulary more often than grammar based teaching. The dynamics in my classes are developed in ways for students to feel comfortable and learn to take chances in using the language and develop their continuous love of learning it.
