Class Experience

During this class, students will practice speaking in Spanish and playing the game of Jeopardy in Spanish.

During the game, students will be presented with questions in the Jeopardy format (making a statement) and students will pick a category and the points they would like to earn. Then they will answer the question. Students will be taking turns one at a time.

Please note: The class will be conducted in Spanish but some questions involve expressions in English for students to translate in Spanish.

Every student will have the opportunity to pick various questions and answer them. Additionally, if one student does not know the answer, but another one does, they will have a chance to earn the points by answering the question correctly.

If they answer correctly, they will collect points, if not, they will not earn the point value of the question. At the end of the game, we will add the points and determine the winner of the game.

This dynamic ensures increased participation and practice of listening, speaking, and reading in Spanish!
