1 hour per week. I encourage all students to complete the assignments and activities if they wish. This will help reinforce the material and create safety in the minds of the students. Students can submit their work through the classroom. I will be respond to all assignments, videos or conversations submitted as soon as possible. Assignments will include worksheets, playing cards but more importantly ideas for role playing and crafts.Class Experience

Students will learn: - learn who are firefighters - learn about fire trucks - what to do at school or home if there is a fire - understand the dangers of fire - learn about fire safety plans Students will use songs and slideshows to learn the material. Students will be provided with the tools to make a "fire safety plan" with their parent or guardian after the class. Students will be provided with many activities to continue the learning through play after the class. Students are encouraged to dress like firefighters if they wish. This class is designed to be a fun and informative class to help promote fire safety at a young age. Students who already have a fire safety plan will be encouraged to share their plan if they choose to. Looking forward to helping you help your child to stay safe.

- learn about fire fighters
- learn about fire trucks
- learn about fire safety and spot hazards in the kitchen

There will be a smoke alarm during a brief video that may cause discomfort. There is a warning before it takes place.
