Life Skills Lessons 1 (Special Needs Welcomed) Tailored for Students Needs
In this 10 week class students will be introduced to English through songs, books and games. Watch the instruction videos at your pace. Activities to practice during the week will be provided.

This class is designed to help students learn "Life Skills". This class mainly focused on the basics and then the Kitchen. It can be altered to suit the needs of the student. There is a part 2 which includes bedroom skills, etc. I usually tailor to suit the needs of the learners enrolled at the time. I use a visual schedule, check list and positive reinforcement as needed. It is generally a "Welcome to the class" Intro video or dance to the topic of the day. Brief Instruction A game or Hands on Learning (if child is able) to practice. Each week students will be given task they can practice at home to help practice the skill, either hands on, video to watch, games to play or worksheets if desired. Lots of fun to be had while we work on becoming more independent.
Learning Goals
Students will be introduced to the alphabet and primary numbers.

Intro to the class
In this lesson students will be introduced the class. They will make a list of some life skills tasks and play a game. 25 mins online live lesson
Lesson 2:
Washing Hands and Blowing Nose
In this lesson students will learn about proper handwashing and blowing nose. 25 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Getting dressed
In this lesson students will learn about getting dressed independently. 25 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Teeth Brushing
In this lesson students will learn proper teeth brushing. 25 mins online live lesson

I have experience supporting children with a variety of needs. I love to meet new students and adapt lessons to suit them. We all deserve to learn in a fun way.
