SAT Reading and Writing (1:1 Support)

The SAT Reading and Writing program is tailored to each student's current reading and writing abilities. Before beginning the program, students must complete a practice test to create a personalized learning plan.

US Grade 9 - 11
I have worked with multiple forms of the SAT test for over fifteen years, including the most recent format launched in March 2024. 
1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Homework

Feedback: included
Details: I typically assign either a full practice test (focusing on the reading and writing sections of the SAT) as well as various skill-based activities to build up areas of weakness. The time it takes to complete the homework can vary slightly from week to week, but I will consult with you to determine an appropriate balance.
Assessment
Frequency: included
Details: Students must complete an entire, timed practice test on College Board's Bluebook app before starting the first meeting. This allows us to discuss customized strategies, from content gaps to general test-taking strategies.
