In this One-Time course, students will practice adding 1 digit numbers to 2 digit numbers and subtracting 1 digit numbers from 2 digit numbers up to 20 to solve the mystery and find out where Santa misplaced the presents!

Description

Class Experience

In this class, students will practice solving equations that involve 2 digit and 1 digit numbers within 1-20 to solve the mystery and find out where Santa lost the presents! 

Example Problems:
12+5=
18-3=

We will spend the first few moments of class creating a community by getting to know one another and understanding class expectations. 

Then we'll dive in and start solving the mystery! Once we get to an answer, that answer will match up with a place at the North Pole where the presents...

Students will be able to solve addition and subtraction equations within 20.

Whiteboard and marker or paper and pencil

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
