Sample Drum Set Lessons (Beginner and Intermediate)

Students will learn proper techniques on playing the standard drum set.  They will learn good form, how to play each piece on the set, what each piece is for, rudiments, volume and speed control.  Students will then learn to put these techniques together to play a song per semester.  These learning objectives will be tailored to either beginner or intermediate based on the student's level of knowledge.

Each class will be set up as follows:  1. discuss homework/questions from previous session 2. Learn new rudiment/drum technique 3. practice that technique on multiple pieces of the set (if applicable) 4. Discuss homework to be completed for new session/any further questions

As the instructor, I will ensure to demonstrate each new skill clearly for the students, ensuring the mimic my demonstration for proper technique.

Classes will be held in a live video format, for real time instruction.  Dialogue and questions are welcome through the lesson to ensure students understand the subject matters being taught.
