Student-specific!

I’ve been teaching drums for over 3 years and playing them for more than 10! I teach all ages, all styles, all types of drums and percussion and I’m here to make learning drums as fun and rewarding for your learner as possible. I am a musician and small business owner in Seattle. So, I’m very active in my community providing drum lessons, designing space for musicians, and playing with local bands. When you sign up for lessons with me, you’re getting an active musician with real-world experience in a variety of musical and other settings. I also have experience teaching in other areas as a Teacher's assistant for CORE Design classes at Iowa State University (where I got my Bachelor's in Architecture from) and coaching high school boys soccer at Holy Family High School in Broomfield, Colorado. Homework Offered
Homework will be given weekly. I recommend at least 1-2 hrs of practice per week, but the more students put in, the more they get out!
2 - 4 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
No formal assessment unless requested. I can certainly provide feedback to parents and/or students on how things are going at any time.
