This is a course that meets once week, focused on individual percussion lessons of all ages and abilities.
Class experience
This class covers private percussion instruction of any age and skill level. Whether your child is a beginner or expert, they will have plenty to learn from this custom tailored class. This class consists of lesson material fit for your son/daughter's musical development. Each lesson will be spent perfecting technique, reading music, and performing. Topics covered include but are not limited to: -Concert Percussion -Marching Percussion -Drumset (Rock, Pop, Jazz, Funk, Afro-Cuban, Brazilian,...
The student will learn history, performance techniques, music reading, chamber musician skills and anything required to perform in their specified area of percussion.
Homework Offered
Learners are expected to practice everyday for various amounts of time depending on age. Each lesson the content will be given to the student to complete the following week.2 - 4 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Individuals are assessed formatively as well as informally every lesson to track the progress of the student.Grades Offered
The supply list depends on the needs of the student. It will be supplied to the student whenever lessons begin.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
