In this 4-week flexible class, we will explore hands-on activities involving dough manipulation to reinforce mathematical concepts like addition and subtraction. Throughout the course, students will engage in rolling dough balls to understand addition and smashing them to visually represent subtraction. As a bonus, there will be a video tutorial demonstrating how to create colorful dough using a special recipe, adding an element of creativity to the learning experience. Includes printable worksheets and bonus online quizzes!

4 Lessons
over 4 WeeksLesson 1:
LESSON 1
Worksheets for creating and smashing our dough balls. Using simple addition and subtraction. We will practice subtracting/smashing 0, 1 or 2 for each row. Kahoot puzzles for additional practice. 7 mins of video lessons
Lesson 2:
LESSON 2
Now our addition and subtraction worksheets become slightly more advanced. Now we will practice subtracting / smashing 3, 4 or 5 with each row. 7 mins of video lessons
Lesson 3:
LESSON 3
Our worksheets get even more complex as we practice subtracting and smashing 6, 7 or 8 with each row. There are additional worksheets this week reviewing previous classes. 6 mins of video lessons
Lesson 4:
LESSON 4
Practice subtracting and smashing all of our dough balls and well as adding new ones up to 20. Review worksheets and extra practice for addition and subtraction. Bonus challenge Kahoot quizzes where learners can create up to 20 dough balls at home and smash them for the correct answers. Other Details
