In this ongoing summer session, homeschoolers/after schoolers/ESL learners and students will unlock their reading potential by exploring key strategies and instruction based on each student's reading needs taught by a certified teacher.

Description
Class Experience
Students will learn specific skills to build their reading confidence and comprehension.
I am an educator with more than twenty years experience serving in the following roles: English Language Arts teacher, Social Studies teacher, Reading tutor, mentor and Assistant Principal. I love spending time with children and being a part of their learning process is my passion.
Students are not required but encouraged to read at least 20 minutes outside of class.
Students will need pencil and paper.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Informal assessments will be used to monitor the learner's progress.
35 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
