Students will learn about the Apollo program.
No supplies needed.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please be advised, I will be talking about all of the Apollo missions including the Apollo 1 fire. All 3 astronauts perished in the fire. I won't go into gory detail but I know death can be a sensitive subject. Also, sometimes students will ask, "How did the Apollo astronauts go to the bathroom, eat, sleep, etc.?" Again, I will not go into gory detail but please be advised that it could be discussed during class.
All images and reference material were obtained through nasa.gov.
