In this class we will learn all about Quokkas. Quokkas are in the marsupial family - just like kangaroos - only much smaller. We will learn where they live, what they like to eat, their size, and their unique and interesting characteristics and how friendly they can be! Then we will have color a picture of a quokka! We will also learn how to spell 'quokka' and for those students that are able, we will write the word as well. For younger learners, they can simply practice writing Q. This will...
Students will be able to identify what a quokka looks like and learn where it lives, what it eats, its average size and weight and habits and characteristics. Students will have practice coloring and writing the word 'quokka' or just the letter Q.
1 file available upon enrollmentA coloring sheet will be provided to print out before class. Bring crayons, markers or colored pencils.
Students will be able to answer questions about the quokka by the end of the class.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
