Learning Goals
Students will drastically improve their basic arithmetic skills in addition/subtraction, multiplication/division, and percents/fractions and the importance at being able to do the basic operations with high velocity and dexterity. They will also learn some unit conversions and how to quickly interchange between units within the empirical and metric systems and how quick math is important in everyday life.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I am extremely well versed mathematically with a BA in BioPhysics requiring math of all levels and where advanced arithmetic is highly required to solve problems quickly. I have taken courses in Calculus I, II, and III as well as Vector Calculus, Ordinary Differential equations, Linear Algebra, and many other physics courses requiring high levels of mathematics. I truly have a passion for math and its capacity to manipulate numbers and equations to understand the world at many different levels including scientific research, business, everyday shopping, and much more.
