In this one time course your childern will learn to relax and paint a new way of dipping into paint to make somthing special.
Class experience
Students will have a unique, hands on experience, as they create a dot painted flowers in purple or any other colours. I lead by example - students will follow along as I teach the dot painting process. This will be demonstrated in a step by step instructional manner. I will be showing how to use the tools to paint this way. We will be learning about paint texture, depth and contrast. What is done by taking this course will open up a whole new way to paint. Round tools for dots (chopsticks, knitting needles or any stick with flat round ends) You can look up on YouTube Dot painting tools. Protected table surface ( Paint on a flat space) Craft Acrylic paint: colors required, black & white if you are wanting something close to what is shown I have used a Metallic Purple Pearl by Deco art and then a lighter purple. along with 2 diffrent sades of greens. But you only need black,white, darker purple and a bit darker green. We can lighten these up with the use of your white paint. Small canvas or wood or ceramic tiles square or round. best 3 to 4 inches in size. What ever you use the surface needs to be painted black in advance. Compass for drawing, or ruler. Flat paint brush Bowl of water and rag Paint dish or paper plate. Have all the things set up before the class starts
