Description

Class Experience

How can we create realistic, memorable characters that will jump off the page and into the hearts of our readers? In this class, we will discuss writing tips and strategies, and then use writing exercises and prompts to practice new skills. My lesson slides are pug-themed, and my two pugs love to say hello to my students! This class is appropriate for both new and experienced writers, ages 8-13. You will need a pen or pencil and a notebook, OR a computer with a keyboard, to complete writing exercises and prompts throughout the class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
