This class is perfect for those just starting out with the drawing app, Procreate on their iPad. No prior Procreate experience is required for this course. I am a firm believer in learning as you go. Learners will follow along drawing a colorful leaf. Each student will walk away from this course with the basic framework to drawing in Procreate on their iPad. The objectives of this class are: * Creating/Editing a canvas size * Insert an image to practice tracing * What layers are and how to use them * How to select a color from the color wheel or grab a color from a reference photo * Learning the basics of the app brushes (including blender brush and eraser) * How to undo and redo a brush stroke * Exporting their work Now you're ready to experience other courses I offer! *Updated iPad with the program app Procreate ($9.99 lifetime access) installed before class. *Any Stylus will do, however, I recommend the Apple Pencil. *A separate device to watch this course on in order to follow along with their iPad. *Upload the picture provided to you before class begins, "Procreate_Leaf_Outline.jpg"

Hi there! Thank you so much for taking interest in my classes! I have a Masters in Entomology with a heavy focus on Microbiology. During my educational journey, I taught a wide age range of students including ages 3 all the way up to college level. Nothing makes me happier than sharing my knowledge with children! They light up my day and inspire me to be the best teacher I can be. I am always drawn to be outside in nature, and when I discovered my love for succulents, I knew I had to learn as much as possible about them. I want to teach and inspire your learner to grow and care for these beautiful plants and share their new knowledge with friends and family! Eventually, I'll be offering more classes such as how to digitally draw your personal succulent on your ipad/tablet, Entomology art class, and succulent social hour!
