Beginner Level
This class is a Process Painting 101 class where we learn about the process of painting and why it is important. Grades Offered
I welcome all types of learners. I recognize that all children learn differently and will adapt classes as the need arises on a class to class basis to best foster the learning for this specific group of children.
No prerequisites required as this is an introduction class. Painting materials such as room to paint, small canvases, and inexpensive paints and paintbrushes are the only things needed.
Please provide your child with 10 small canvases, paintbrushes, cups for mixing water and paintbrushes, a palette or item that can be used as a palette. These supplies need not be expensive and you can get creative with what you are using such as using a recycled coffee tin for a paintbrush cup. Canvases may be recycled as in painted white prior to the next class as long as it is dry and usable for the student to paint on.
