Ready to fall in love with painting? No painting experience is necessary.......Really! Just paint - a - long with Ms. Muse and by the end of class time, you will have created a masterpiece! Students will follow along step by step, as I paint details right in front of them. I will demonstrate how the paint colors work together and we'll layer these to create beautiful paintings with depth. They will learn painting terminology and some easy to remember techniques that they can use in their own artwork. If they choose, students can always share their masterpiece at the end of the class. (This is never required) It's really exciting to see how proud they are of their work. Watch as they improve with each painting they create! I strive to upload a few NEW paintings each month! SUPPLIES PAINTED BLACK 11x14 canvas or watercolor paper or multi - media paper PAINTED BLACK PRIOR TO CLASS. ( This can be dried quickly with heat by a hairdryer. ) *re -use an old canvas that you paint over…This can leave some great texture! *Please note, the structure/ timing of the class is geared toward SPECIFICALLY 11x14. This manageable size allows for ample time to work on each step, and for all levels of painters to enjoy success. ACRYLIC Paint Colors White. yellow orange blue green black brown * other colors can be added for the flowers Protected table surface and painting flat on table. Paint smock and long hair should be tied back. 3 SHORT HANDLED brushes : (flexible, synthetic bristles please) 3/4 “ or 1 " Flat wash brush Medium sized ROUND brush ( size 8 ) Small sized /Detail ROUND brush with a nice point. ( size 3 or 4) 2 Bowls of water EXTRA paper towels Paper plates for paints and mixing * Please position ALL supplies on same side of table next to the hand you paint with . Computer /device should be faced directly ahead to show student progress
