Mathematicians will work together in an ongoing student-led, teacher-facilitated workroom to problem solve through Geometry. May be taken as a complete Geometry class or may supplement a more traditional class. Prerequisite: Algebra I

Mathematicians in the Geometry Problem Solving Workroom will be able to use math skills to solve a variety of problems related to Geometry topics, which includes properties of shapes, angles and measurement, congruence and similarity, and triangle relationships. ***Please note: Geometry Problem Solving will offer an integrated approach, which means that any previous Algebra Problem Solving Skills may also be covered and included.*** The focus of this class will remain on solving word...
Students will be able to confidently problem solve using previously acquired mathematics skills and support from peers. Students will be able to explore new Geometry concepts through inquiry methods. Students will be able to present solutions and conclusions to peers.
