I will provide one-on-one tutoring that will focus on skills that YOUR child needs - reading, writing, math, and/or handwriting. All learners learn at different paces and have different needs. I will do everything I can to help your child succeed. ***I ask that parents please provide me with the skills your learner needs to focus on when you sign up. I will base our class on input from parents. I will tie in your child's interests to make the learning fun and interactive. Book as many sessions as needed for your child. Please feel free to request a time if you don't see a time that works for you. The following is a sample of the skills I can focus on: Reading/Phonics - letter names and sounds - blending cvc words - sight words - fluency Math - one-to-one correspondence - number sense - counting - addition to 20 - subtraction to 20 - place value

Supply List
I would ask students to have a whiteboard, whiteboard marker, and eraser or a paper and pencil. Other needed supplies will be determined when the focus of the class has been decided.

Hello families! My name is Lori Lane, and I am excited to be an Outschool Teacher! I am a certified elementary school teacher. I have been teaching for 27 years, teaching preschool and first grade. In the past two years, I have also taught students online from different countries, ranging from 3-14.
Teaching is truly my passion. I love seeing my students' faces when they learn new things, making learning fun. I take a hands-on approach to teaching phonics and math, but I love reading to my students most of all. I get animated and change my voice when I'm reading. I have a Bachelors and Masters in education as well as my ESL endorsement.
With 2 teenaged daughters, we are a Disney-loving family and try to visit Disneyland once a year!Reviews
