Private Saxophone Lessons

Because this is a one-on-one class, the lesson structure will vary depending on the student's current skills and goals. In general I have my students focus on tone, technique, and air control. My lessons will always start with a warm-up, and then we typically move to scales followed by repertoire. If a student doesn't have a piece of music that they're already working on, I will recommend one.

My teaching style is relaxed with high expectations. I love helping students succeed, and I love to see students want to succeed. If your student is dedicated to practicing to get better, then these lessons will be very helpful to them! I will never be angry at a student for not practicing, but I do emphasize that the more practicing you do, the better you will be.

Students will need to have a stable internet connection, a saxophone, a stand, and a device big enough to see screenshared documents clearly.
