This is an ongoing, one-on-one math tutoring session! We will work on any elementary math skill that your child needs to practice and incorporate movies or characters that your child loves.

Does your child need extra practice with math skills? This one-on-one class will allow me to work with your child on improving their understanding of one or more math concepts while incorporating their favorite characters. Be sure to let me know what shows or video games your child loves so we can incorporate those characters into our lessons. We will work on one or more of the following concepts: writing numbers, counting to 100, skip counting, comparing numbers, 1 digit addition, 2 digit addition without regrouping, 3 digit addition without regrouping, addition with regrouping, addition story problems, telling time, counting money, measurement, 1 digit subtraction, 2 digit subtraction without regrouping, 3 digit subtraction without regrouping, subtraction with regrouping, subtraction story problems, fractions, multiplication, and division.

Parental Guidance
Parents can message me before class to identify the math skills they would like me to focus on during class and what shows or characters your child loves so that we can incorporate these into our lessons.

External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I have a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Elementary Education and was a full-time classroom teacher for 11 years. I taught grades K-3, but first grade was my favorite! I have also been an online ESL teacher and a substitute teacher. This year I am excited to start a new teaching adventure: homeschool!
I live in Illinois with my husband and two boys. We love playing outside, watching movies, and going to Disneyworld! I also love cooking, baking, reading, and drawing.
